My name is Erika Anderson

I'm a wedding and portrait photographer, based in Missouri, but available worldwide. I am a mother to 5 sons and a wife to my hunk of a hubby. I binge the Crime Junkie podcast in my car to and from sessions, never turn down an chance to chow down on hot wings, and will always jump on the dance floor with you at your wedding.

I fell in love with photography in high school but never looked at it as a career until I became a stay at home mom to my first biological son in 2016. The rest is history.

Favorite Swear Word?

Fuck. 1000%. I am professional through and through but damn if this word doesn't just make me feel so good. It spices up a sentence and its needed. Sorry grandma.

Non-alcoholic- Water
Alcoholic- Cayman Jack Margaritas & Palomas

Favorite Podcast?

I binge Crime Junkie like its nobodies business. Pretty much anytime I'm in the car. Otherwise, I love "Yes, and...", "Shine & Thrive", & "Oh, Shoot!"

Bucket List Destination?

My top destination I absolutely hope to get to explore before its my time to go, is definitely Greece. Specifically Santorini. I just think its stunning from all the photos I've seen- so I cannot imagine the beauty it exudes in person. The architecture is jaw dropping, too. So cool.

Coffee Shop Fave?

I have 3 go-to's that I alternate - Tuxedo, Turtle, or Mocha Latte. Iced or Hot. So good.

Hidden Talent?

I can yodel. Yep I know. Weird. Honestly, I love to sing and pursued a music career for a long time before putting that dream behind me.
I can also say the ABC's backwards way too fast.

The Noble Family

Erika is a joy to work with! She was also able to capture some amazing shots of our family of 6, even tho everyone was cold and the wind wouldn't give up! Plus she came to us, which is always more convenient getting littles ready for photos! On top of that she helped coordinate our outfits, which is always my least favorite part of family photos! Erika took the stress out of it all, making it an enjoyable day even for Mom!
